
Bomberg Onion
4 large sweet onions
1 lb bratwurst
1 egg
6 crackers
4 cups beef broth
Core out onion
Simmer in beef broth until softened, reserve stock for gravy
Mix sausage, egg, and crackers
Stuff the onions with mixture and wrap in saran wrap
Bake at 325 degrees for at least 30 minutes
Serve iwth skin on mashed potatoes with minced carrots and homemade gravy
Cajun Glazed Italian Sausage Stuffed Apples
4 large apples
1 lb Italian sausage
1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Potatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar
Cornstarch
Core apples (toss with a little lemon juice so they don't turn brown)
Stuff with sausage
Put in baking dish with apple juice, stock, and seasoning and wrap with saran wrap and bake for one hour at 325 degrees
Served with Cajun pan fried potatoes
When apples are done quarter and serve in the center of the potatoes
Stuffed Peppers with Bloody Mary Spanish Rice
4 large green peppers
1 lb ground beef
3 cups cooked rice
1 cup bloody mary drink
1/2 cup onion
1 can diced tomatoes
Core green peppers
Brown beef and season with salt and pepper
Combine beef, rice, bloody mary mix, and onion
Stuff mixture into green peppers
Put in baking pan and wrap with saran wrap and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees
Serve with garlic toast
